Systems follow their own psychology

Organizational Development

When vision, structure and culture are aligned and interlock, transformation, success and joy at work follow organically. For an organization that is centered and has an impact beyond itself.

What it is about

Organizations are human systems

Organizations have a nervous system, patterns and fears, just like the people they are made of. Structural change that ignores this remains a good idea on paper. Culture programs without structural anchoring remain wishful thinking.

Self-understanding, working relationships, capacity for change

Effectiveness arises from their synergy: each pillar supports the others.

I work with organizations over longer periods, from the initial assessment and work with leadership teams to the development of entire divisions. Current work includes a multi-year engagement with a company of around 250 employees: over three years, from top management to the teams, with a dedicated training program for staff, leadership development, a learning platform and accompanying evaluation.

Dramaturgy

Unfreeze. Transform. Anchor

Multi-year processes follow a clear arc. Because essential change needs one thing above all: safety in encounter, relationship and feeling. A nervous system, and an organization, closes up in fear and resists; in safety it opens and unfolds.

Year 1 · Unfreeze

The foundation is laid: calm, clarity and safety in working relationships, the ground on which everything else grows.

Year 2 · Transform

Culture and communication change: patterns become visible, discussable and changeable.

Year 3 · Anchor

The new is anchored so that it carries on without me. Sustainability is not a coincidence but a design principle.

Building blocks

What the engagement includes

Diagnosis & assessment

Listening to what the system is telling us: interviews, observation, needs analyses, sound evaluation.

Work with the leadership level

Management and leadership teams as the sounding board of the whole: this is where every change begins.

People development with a transfer architecture

Multi-year training programs and workshop series in which transfer is built in from the start: follow-up sessions, multi-day trainings, certificates that honor the development.

Accompanying learning platform

Materials, practice recordings and exchange available digitally, so that development continues between sessions.

Ongoing processes

Change and knowledge management, process optimization, adapting to what the system shows.

Measuring effectiveness

Evaluation and transfer measurement from the start: change that can be demonstrated.

How I work

Science meets embodiment

Scientifically and systemically conceived, put into practice in an embodied way, and with joy: playful, experience-based learning is no frivolity, but demonstrably more effective than any slide marathon.

As a work and organizational psychologist, I bring the science of diagnostics and evaluation to the work; as a body-oriented practitioner of change, the methods that turn insight into new behavior. And from years of working alongside organizations, the staying power that real cultural change needs.

For professionals

For OD consultants & in-house practitioners

Do you shape change processes too? In training and peer consultation I share approaches, methods and experience from multi-year engagements, from clarifying the assignment to measuring effectiveness.

Voices

“The decision was not easy for us: with someone you do not know yet, trust plays a decisive role, as does the question of cost and benefit. These concerns dissolved very quickly. The collaboration felt right and like a partnership at all times, shaped by real exchange rather than one-sided transfer of knowledge. In challenging situations, our staff now act with noticeably more calm and confidence, and collaboration in the teams is more focused and conscious. Not loud or spectacular, but genuine, lasting and anchored in everyday work. I was surprised how quickly and easily change can happen.”
